About me

Lula Louise is a DIY design blog featuring tutorials, reviews, inspiration and lots of DIY-goodness. Lula was born in Idaho and traveled the west in a covered wagon. She was also my maternal great-grandmother. Louise was born on a wheat ranch on Valentine's Day in 1914. She loved sewing and was my paternal grandmother. You'll often see things on my blog that I inherited from her (she had an amazing sewing pattern collection).

I come from a long line of makers, of people who look at the world and say "I can make that". Because of them, I've never been afraid to try something new or go my own DIY way. I hope that this site inspires you to do the same.
